July flew by so quickly. Between my birthday, my boyfriend’s birthday and my trip to Puerto Rico, it pretty much came and left so quickly. I kept using the same products pretty much the whole month. Now sit back and enjoy a nice read.
This palette pushed me this month to step out of my comfort zone and become more creative. This color story was something I wasn’t inspired by at first glance. To be honest, I just wanted all the Juvia’s Place palettes because I’m one of those shoppers who can’t just pick up ONE item, I need to pick them all up lol. I forced myself to just put random shades on and hope for the best. Honestly, I was never mad. I even used the black which I never use.
The Simple Cleansing Wipes have replaced my holy grail wipes by a landslide. These are the most gentle wipes I’ve ever used on my face. I felt like it took off all my makeup before continuing the rest of my skin care AND it didn’t leave my face feeling greasy or dried out. They are extremely affordable and they are usually on sale. This is great for anyone for sensitive skin.
This has been my favorite mix this summer. I have a dry skin type but I am from NYC where it is sooooo humid during the summer. I love my pro glow all year round but during the summer months I want to be more matte in areas I get more oily at like in my forehead and chin areas. I use a lighter color in the Pro Matte because I feel like it oxidizes on me a bit but when I mix the two shades it is the perfect shade for me. If one is too glowy or too matte, try mixing the both of them and maybe it’ll work out.
Moving on from what I was saying about the foundations, this was my life saver during my trip to Puerto Rico. If you’ve never been there, let me explain to you how it feels. My family is from the coast where it is not only HOT but it is disgusting humid where you are ready to live in the ocean lol. When I went out at night, this is what helped keep my makeup in place and it didn’t budge. The scent is delicious and leaves my skin lookling flawless!
I don’t want to go too deep into these products because I have an upcoming blog on my haul from Pixi. But these three babies restored hydration back into my face and I am loving it. When I went to Puerto Rico, my family complimented my skin so much. They kept telling me it looked so healthy and I explained that it took time to come up with a skin routine that is right for me. A skin routine is so important no matter how old you are because our skin is our largest organ and we should take care of our skin. I promise to go more in depth soon because I have so much to say about Pixi.
My favorite cheek products by far are my Fenty Beauty Match Stix in “Amber” and my Note Cosmetics blush in “Desert Rose”. So I have a hard time tanning lol because I am the color or a ghost basically. This blush has helped bring the perfect color for the summer JLO looking looks. I don’t usually go for warm toned blushes because I love my pinky berry shades but this has been A1 like steak sauce for me. The match stix carves out my cheeks like nothing else can. I love to put a little on my cheeks and my forehead area and then blend it to perfection with a dense brush.
My lips needed to much hydration this month and the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm. This takes away all the dryness and cracks away from my lips. The only downfall is that since it’s been hot, the lip balm melted inside the tube 😦 When I make a repurchase, I plan on picking up the squeezy tube version. Buxom glosses have always been my favorite formula. I love it because it has a minty feel on my lips and it adds a nice color to my lips. I have a bunch in different shade and they are all consistently amazing.
This is by far the sexiest perfume I own. I just love the wear on it. I feel like it lasts all day and it is perfect for date nights with my boyfriend. Every time I do wear it, I get tons of compliments on how good I smell. If you are looking for a sexy perfume to seduce your lover, try out BLACK OPIUM lol.
Down below I will link everything I have mentioned.
